VISA
TYPES OF VISAS:
1. Tourist and/or Business Visa:
Issued to foreign nationals who wish to travel to Honduras for tourism and/or business purposes and/or family reasons, and who hold regular or ordinary passports.

Single-entry: valid for one entry with a validity of 60 days. USD $30.00 payable by Bank Draft or Money Order.

Multiple-entry: valid for multiple entries with a validity of 1 year. USD $60.00 payable by Bank Draft or Money Order.
Requirements:

Complete the visa application form.

Two passport-size photographs.
-
Valid passport.
-
Submit a photocopy of the Residence Card (both sides) or a photocopy of the visa stamped in the passport.

Copy of travel itinerary.
-
Bank reference or bank statements showing sufficient funds to cover expenses (three months of statements).

Proof of employment.
-
Letter of invitation (if applicable).

Any other requirement requested by the Consulate, according to each individual case.

Payment via Bank Draft or Money Order, made payable to the Consulate of Honduras and in U.S. dollars.
-
Prepaid envelope for the return of the passport if unable to collect it in person.
2. Diplomatic Visa:
Issued to diplomatic and consular officials and other officials of foreign governments, as well as officials of international organizations, who hold diplomatic passports.
Note: Free of charge.
3. Courtesy Visa:
Issued to holders of special or service passports, regular/ordinary passports, when traveling on official missions as members of cultural or sports delegations; to service staff of diplomatic or consular missions accredited in any of the territories of the member countries of the CA-4 Agreement; and/or to those who work for organizations or institutions such as ICAO, Biological Diversity, IATA, and who do not hold an Official passport, and who are traveling to Honduras to carry out an official activity.

4. Official Visa:
Issued to foreign consular officials, other public officials, and officials of international organizations who hold official passports, UN Laissez-Passer, and OAS passports.

Observations:

The applicant must mandatorily appear for an interview with the consular officer, except in indicated exceptions.

Applications submitted with incomplete information or documentation will not be processed.
Original documents and photocopies must be attached to the application. -
The validity of the single-entry visa is 60 days, and the multiple-entry visa is valid for up to 1 year, counted from the date of issuance. If an extension of stay is required, it may be requested in Honduras at the offices of the General Directorate of Population and Migration Policy.

Possession of a visa does not guarantee the right of entry into the territories of the CA-4 countries; immigration authorities at the port of entry have the final authority to allow or deny entry into the country.

The Consulate reserves the right to request any additional documents that support the information requested in Sections II, III, and IV of the application form.
The Consulate General assumes no responsibility for the decision made by the Honduran authorities.
