TRANSLATIONS
The official language of the Republic of Honduras is Spanish; therefore, any document written in another language that must have legal effect in the country must be submitted along with its translation.
The translation into Spanish can be done at the Consulate General of Honduras or through a certified Canadian translator. You will need to present the corresponding legalization/authentication (from the College of Translators, Terminologists, and Interpreters recognized in Quebec) at the consulate.
The translation costs $30.00 US dollars, payable via Bank Draft or Money Order payable to the Consulate of Honduras. This amount is per page.
Note: If you are outside Montreal, you can mail the original documents, payment, and a prepaid return envelope for the translated document. Once the consulate completes the process, it will be mailed immediately.
