The National Identification Document (DNI) is an essential official document for the daily life of a Honduran citizen, since with it you can carry out various administrative procedures.
This identity document is mandatory for all Honduran citizens or residents, and it is a small card that contains the applicant's personal data, such as full name, date and place of birth, and handwritten signature.
In this article, we will explain the procedure to follow, where you should go, and what documents are needed to obtain your DNI identity card.
The Montreal Consulate is now processing applications for all citizens. Schedule your appointment as follows:
1. Go to the following link: https://citaconsular.sreci.gob.hn/citaconsular/pages/layout/CitaConsular.php
2. Fill in the information on the form and select the desired date. (Select the option enrolamiento DNI)
3. You must bring your previous ID card, birth certificate, or passport. If you have never had an ID card, you must bring two Honduran witnesses who have held one the previous ID card or the new ID card.
